Four years you think for sure
That’s all you've got to endure
All the total dicks

So superficial, so immature
Then when you GrAdUaTe
You take a look around and you say HEY WAIT!
This is the .s a m e. as where I just came from

Andrea had felt Constantine's hand go through her hair, but just when he did, he pulled back. She looked at him, their faces only inches apart and listened to him carefully.
"I'll only disappoint you."
She looked up at him, wondering why he'd say something like that. At first, she was hurt. This was something she didn't expect to happen, and she just couldn't handle it. Maybe if it was some other time, she'd be okay, but not now. She kept looking at him and their eyes met. She was lost, but as she thought things through, she realized that she couldn't do anything about it. He must have his reasons. She put one of her hands upon his face and caressed his cheek softly. "I...I don't believe that," she said, softly, almost on the verge of tears.
[Umm, I don't know. What do you mean by that? >.<]

He lifted his hand to clasp hers, closing his eyes briefly. He felt like something sharp had stabbed him straight through the heart, seeing her so distressed; the worst thing was, it was his fault. He could only blame himself. This was what he had feared. "It's just...I want you to know what you're getting into. I don't want to hurt you," his acutely honest voice faltered. His grave eyes searched hers, desperately hoping she'd understand. He didn't want to drag her down into his world of despair; it never occurred to him that she might be the one who could save him from it.
[It's so weird saying--much less asking--this, but...in the physical sense.]

Andrea looked down, not knowing what to say or do. At this point in time, everything just became confusing. She hesitated, trying to find the right words to say. She thought about it and she understood what Constantine had meant. He just didn't want her to get hurt, but how could he hurt her? It just didn't seem logical. Being the guy that he was, he couldn't do something like that. She finally looked up at him, after a few seconds of pure silence. "I'd take this chance, even if I do get hurt," she said, meaning every word she had said.

Constantine had much less control over his emotions than usual. He stared blankly into her eyes for a few seconds, processing his thoughts, before reacting. He began to weigh all the baggage that hung with her reply, all the--but cut himself off. He couldn't overanalyze another situation, try and make things work reasonably in his head. He simply leaned forward and kissed Andrea lightly once again, ignoring everything but her and the moment. Eyes closed, his arm moved maneuvered around her slender waist, subtly drawing her towards him. He wouldn't push the circumstance any farther than she was comfortable; he was exceptionally uncontrolling in relationships. Protective, maybe, but never controlling. As the rain increased in intensity, the scene seemed more and more unreal: tranquil and serenely unhurried.

Just when Andrea was about to lose hope, something unexpected happened. Once again she felt Constatine's lips against her own, but this time, something was different. Was this really happening? She felt his arms around her waist and realized that she was being drawn towards him. If this had happened with someone else, Andrea probably would have stopped herself, but in this case, she couldn't. Everything just felt right. She could hear the rain growing stronger in the background, but it just made her much more calm. She wrapped her arms softly around his neck and kissed him, once again.

The back of his neck tingling at her touch, Constantine wondered if he was dreaming. This was more than unlikely: he had very vivid dreams, but always about the most outrageous, bizarre things; this, as well as the fact that his dreams rarely ended well, convinced him that he was, indeed, concious. He detached his left arm from her torso, lifting his guitar over the seat behind him without breaking contact between their lips. He now felt that any time not with her was time not breathing. His fingers began to lift the back of her shirt, but he hesitated. "You okay?" he asked, his mouth instantly drawn back to hers like a magnet after the words were murmurred.

At that point in time, Andrea took notice of every detail. It was something she coulnd't help. She could feel Constantine lift his guitar off of his lap and she heard the rain grow even stronger. Strange as it may seem, everything just seemed to come together. She felt Constantine's fingers on her back, slowly pulling her shirt up. He stopped and andrea listened to him carefully. She thought about this for a second, trying her best to think things through. She nodded her head. "I'm fine. Are you?" Andrea found her lips wanting to be with his once again.

With a reticent smile, he replied, "Never better." After pulling the shirt over her head with care but speed, he removed his and moved closer to Andrea. The touch of her skin against his sent a shiver up his spine; he pulled her close and his eyes burned with satisfaction. The desire to never leave her side was mounting slowly the more he was in her company.
[Uhm, do you want to have a sort of before-after effect?]
