His mind wandering slightly at the mention of a short skirt. A faint blush came to his face as he quickly tried to shove the thoughts from his head. "Well, hey im sure you didnt look the least bit stupid. Im sure you looked good...." Nathan trailed off a little, not wanting to scare her off.
Nodding a little, he picked his back pack from the ground, and shouldered it again. "well then, coffee it is. I mean, we all could use a nice caffine pick-me-up now and then. Right? And besides it will be with good company. So we cant go wrong."

Maddie noticed Nathan's blush and for a moment, wondered why. Quickly remembering what she had just said, a smirk slid up her face. "Ooh you like the idea of that, huh?" she said with a raised eyebrow. "I supose I'm not really one to judge what I look like. Maybe I'll take it up again and you can judge for yourself." she said with a wink.
She smiled as Nathan spoke again. "Exactly. So coffee it is!" she said back with a grin, putting her note in her pocket. That was going straight in the bin the minute she got home. But for now she had to concentrate on Nathan and coffee. "Lead the way." He was right. Good company and coffee was a good combination.
